This Commodore-based beast of a sedan, armed with a supercar-like 474kW of power and 815Nm of torque from its supercharged 6.2-litre LS9 V8, shows what can be achieved by talented local engineers and designers. But after a manufacturing run of just 300 units, it will be all over, and to a large extent, so will the home-grown mass-produced car manufacturing industry that shuts this year. Yes, HSV will keep going, applying its skills to imported Holdens from 2018, but we wonder if we will ever see anything like the GTSR W1 again … Click here for the full review...
