The traction control button - normally located on the gearshift surround on automatic transmission models and on the dash on manual versions - is a glaring omission from the Maloo's interior, given that it is standard on all other HSV models. The problem is Holden has yet to successfully calibrate the system to account for the difference between an unladen and fully laden ute, which can be up to 830kg depending on the model, although only 490kg in the case of the Maloo.
