Infiniti QX30 sets new value benchmark in compact SUV market
23 Sep 2016
INTRODUCING an all-new brand into the extensive Australian vehicle market is an extraordinarily tall order with more than 60 car-makers already tussling for a share, but with a growing range of luxury models Infiniti is shoring up its position after a return four years ago.
It’s not just a case of finding a unique selling proposition and trading solely on that if there are any gaps in a brand’s armour, and a contender must do as well if not better than its established rivals as well finding that one thing it does differently.
In the case of the Japanese luxury car-maker it has chosen to offer a look like no other and comparatively high levels of standard equipment, as well as claiming to match the qualities found in key luxury brands such as Lexus, Audi, BMW and Mercedes.
The car-maker is certainly sticking to its mantra with its eighth model to hit Australian shores and the QX30 gives local compact SUV shoppers an option that looks like no other but does it have the other essential attributes to continue garnering attention in Australia?
