Super TestCar reviews - Jeep - Wrangler - Sport 3-dr wagonJeep modelsStand Out Features14 Feb 2001 NEVER mind that the core buyer group - yuppies - never lived through a war and may not ever take the Wrangler off-road, the military theme and the minimalist, look-at-me design is a huge drawcard for the young and upwardly mobile. This is as hardcore as mainstream four-wheel-driving gets with a ladder frame chassis, low range gearing, underbody protection and superb visibility courtesy of the "disposable" top half, removable doors and folding windscreen. The wash-out interior is a terrific feature - water-resistant fabrics are used, along with removable carpeting and floor drain plugs. Did you know?Changes to the Wrangler included new soft and hard tops for improved sealing, less wind noise and ease of operation flush-mounted external hinges new front and rear seats and the use of Jeep's Quadra Coil suspension, as seen on the Grand CherokeeAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
