The change in name from Shuma has brought with it some subtle design changes, particularly at the front end which now features a new nose treatment and blended headlights with "sports sedan" cut-outs for each beam. The update reduces the soft, rounded appearance, sharpening things up with the angled headlight casings, revised bonnet creases that now fan out to the front pillars, and a squarer grille. The latter has a chrome lip and, like the Shuma, a single horizontal bar with a centre-mounted Kia badge. Fourteen-inch steel wheels with six-spoke plastic covers are used.
