In what could be a case of having the right vehile at the right time, Renault will launch the Euro-styled Trafic van into the hotly contested medium van market during the traditional re-financial year buying period. A gutsy 1.9-litre turbo-diesel, six-speed manual transmission, two body lengths, two body heights and a highly practical cabin are all strong points. But Trafic, which starts at $33,490, faces plenty of competition from medium vans like the Merecedes-Benz Vito and Volkswagen's all-new Transporter.
