The facelifted Ford Mustang muscle car range launched in June 2018 with only V8-powered variants, as four-cylinder EcoBoost versions were expected to hit later in the year.
Power and torque was boosted in the 5.0-litre Coyote V8 by 33kW/26Nm to 339kW of power and 556Nm of torque thanks to small, but substantial, tweaks to the free-breathing engine.
The six-speed automatic is also replaced with Ford’s 10-speed unit, while three-pedal versions also picked up a few mechanical tweaks.
New features in the update include a Drag Strip launch control mode, 19-inch alloy wheels, bigger brakes and a bi-modal exhaust to let loose the sonorous V8.
Inside, Mustang GTs gain new soft-touch materials and an all-digital instrumentation display to lift in-cabin ambience.
