Future models - Peugeot - 207 - R CupFirst look: Peugeot previews all-new 207The new 207 will debut at Geneva, but the RCup concept has already flexed its muscle24 Feb 2006 PEUGEOT will officially launch the 207 at Geneva but has been keen to flex the potential of the hatch with the RCup concept. The overtly sporty RCup is built with rallying in mind, which also gives a clear indication of where the 207 GTi is heading with its World Rally Championship intent. The concept has a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 208kW. It is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox and four-wheel drive. In keeping with its rallying intent the RCup is lower and wider than a 207 hatch, with 18-inch alloys, deep front and rear bumpers, a bodykit with front and rear spoilers, and a pair of twin exhausts. Inside, the RCup has a stripped-out interior and all-enveloping rollcage.
