The big news for the new-shape KE Verada was the introduction of an effortless 147kW 3.5L V6 engine.
New wheels, a chromed grille, US-style big bumpers, multi parabola headlights, larger tail-lights and a two-tone cabin theme differentiated it from the Magna.
Dual front airbags were available, as was climate control air-conditioning, steering wheel-mounted controls and ABS.
Everything else about the KE was pure TE Magna.
In March ’97 Mitsubishi launched the new generation Verada Ei wagon.
