New models - Audi - Q7New entry point to Audi Q7 line-upAudi Australia to offer Q7 45 TFSI quattro from $108,815 + ORC; from early 2025GalleryClick to see larger images 1 Oct 2024 By MATT BROGAN AUDI Australia will add a new entry 45 TFSI quattro variant to its Q7 SUV range from early in the new year.
Priced from $108,815 plus on-road costs, the newcomer undercuts the present entry point to the range – the 45 TDI quattro – by a considerable $8469 to offer what the German importer says is a “compelling blend of performance, luxury, and value”.
The seven-seater offers five ISOFIX and top-tether child seat anchors among its considerable standard safety itinerary, setting it apart from many of its direct competitors. Safety technology highlights include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition to name but a few.
As with the remainder of the recently updated Q7 range, the 45 TFSI quattro further features a revised exterior design, new Matrix LED lighting technology and updated paint and alloy wheel options.
Specific to the new variant are a Singleframe grille with vertical inlays said to offer a more assertive and sophisticated look, a new paint colour dubbed Sakhir Gold, electric folding third row seats, and adaptive air suspension.
Inside the Q7 45 TFSI boast MMI navigation plus via a 10.1-inch infotainment screen and customisable 12.3-inch instrumentation array. A separate 8.6-inch touchscreen handles ancillary vehicle functions.
Additionally, the variant is equipped with Audi connect plus, which includes navigation and infotainment services, security and assistance features and the Audi smartphone interface for “seamless connectivity”.
The Q7 45 TFSI further features an Audi-sourced 10-speaker audio system with standard DAB+ digital radio reception and “multiple” USB outlets.
Under the bonnet, the Audi Q7 45 TFSI quattro is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine delivering 185kW of power and 370Nm of torque. Fuel economy and performance figures are yet to be provided.
Audi Australia says the 45 TFSI quattro complements the existing Q7 line-up, which includes the 45 TDI quattro, 50 TDI S line quattro, 55 TFSI S line quattro, and SQ7 TFSI quattro. Pricing for all other grades remains unchanged (see pricing table below).
The new Audi Q7 45 TFSI quattro is due in local dealerships from early next year.
