It has also added a 206 C variant, which is based on the XT model and includes a full-length glass sunroof, which can be covered by an electric shutter. The C is priced from $22,990 for the manual version (auto adds $2000). The entry XR model has reduced $1000 to now start from $17,990, while the XT starts from $21,990 and features sporting-flavoured front seats, aluminium pedal covers, 15-inch steel heels (with revised wheel covers), a chrome exhaust outlet, a new front bumper and aluminium trim on the fuel cap and lower door sills. That leaves the GTi 180 as the “hot hatch” torchbearer and the 1.6 206 CC with the “most affordable convertible” tag – both are priced $2000 lower to now start from $32,990. The 2.0 CC now starts from $37,990.
