Holden ApolloJP Apollo1 Sep 1995 By CHRIS HARRIS In September ’95, a new grille, revised taillights and fresh wheel trims marked the JP, along with minor fabric and equipment upgrades. All models now included rear disc brakes, remote central locking with an immobiliser and alarm, a centre rear lap/sash seat belt, and cupholders. The reduced range now read: GS 2.2L sedan auto, GS 3.0L V6 sedan auto, SLX 2.2L auto or manual in sedan or wagon, and SLX 3.0L V6 auto sedan. But Apollo sales never took off, and the model was replaced by the GM Opel-sourced JR Vectra sedan and wagon from June ’97. |
