Super TestCar reviews - Ford - Mustang - Cobra convertibleFord modelsResearch Ford Controls17 Aug 2001 MUSTANG'S right-hand drive conversion produces a few niggles, such as the left-hand indicator and the gearshift's protrusion from the left of the centre console, but the handbrake is on the right-hand side at least. Cruise control is operated via buttons on the steering wheel and the master light switch is where it should be, on the instrument panel to the right of the steering column. The steering wheel is adjustable for height only. Operating the convertible roof requires two upper windscreen latches to be unfastened.
