Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Adventra - rangeHolden modelsResearch Holden OverviewFinally, Holden has a V6 Adventra - complete with 190kW and a five-speed auto11 Feb 2005 Stung by disappointing sales of its original V8-only Adventra, Holden has come out swinging with a competitively priced, 190kW V6-powered VZ version - complete with five-speed auto. The new Adventra V6, available in three grades from a Ford Territory AWD-beating $40,990, is the competent, refined, good-value Holden's medium SUV entrant needed to be. In fact, it's such good value it will make some of Holden's more expensive, less powerful mainstream sedan and wagon offering seem over-priced in comparison. Prices were dropped in July 2004, to $48,990 and $56,990 respectively, as a result of slow sales. Now the V8 range is pared back to just one flasghip model, the LX8 which continues at $56,990, while three new V6 variants join the range from $40,990. |
