Anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution also make it into the package. The vehicle conforms to Honda's G-Force Control (or G-CON) program, with each part of the aluminium body and frame designed to absorb certain types of impact. Along with typical side-impact protection and front crumple zones, Insight has rear-impact energy absorbing measures built into the spare tyre, suspension and unique aluminium extrusions that extend from the passenger compartment through to the rear end.
