The new-generation automatic is more compact, smoother operating and faster shifting than its predecessor. The auto also has a Sequential Shift semi-automatic gear change. The new transmission is 25mm shorter and 4kg lighter than its predecessor. There is also an improved five-speed manual gearbox with better gear change and clutch feel.
