Super TestCar reviews - Land Rover - Freelander - ES V6 3-dr wagonLand Rover modelsSeat Plan31 Aug 2001 THE three-door Freelander deliberately exposes painted metal surfaces and trim fixings, plus heavily sculptured door trim panels, to make it look vibrant and fresh. All seating positions have a three-point seatbelt and head restraint. A new centre console increases the already high number of storage spaces in the front, while rear passengers in the three-door have at their disposal extremely useful deep bins at either side, front seatback pockets and a power outlet located behind the new centre console box. Rear seat grab-handles fail to get a look in. The new ES specification includes twin illuminated vanity mirrors to the top specification.
