Super TestCar reviews - Mercedes-Benz - CLK-class - CLK320 Elegance coupeMercedes-Benz modelsResearch Mercedes-Benz Seat Plan7 Feb 2001 By P TIBBLES THE CLK is a four-seater only. The front and rear hip points are 57mm further apart than in its predecessor, the W124 coupe. The "Easy-entry" system automatically moves the front seat forward while the head restraint travels to its lowest position, then returns to its original setting. The rear headrests tilt forward at the touch of a dash-mounted button to aid rear vision. The rear side windows cannot be opened, so air-conditioning is a must. The centre console is an all-new design and the boot lid can be remotely opened. The door panels are a new design also.
