But boy does the Clubman pack in a lot of character, fun and feel-good factor between those barn-style rear doors and its iconic Issigonis-inspired snout. Gone is the single ‘suicide’ door that in right-hand-drive markets could be as deadly as the name suggested, replaced with a pair of conventional items that contribute to the creation of a six-door body and what is the most usable Mini yet. Our test vehicle was optioned up to the max, turning the entry level Cooper Clubman into a technology-packed pleasure pen on wheels. We had to give it back after a week, but we did so begrudgingly.
