Super TestCar reviews - Nissan - Navara - ST-X dual-cab utility rangeNissan modelsOverviewNissan's D40 Navara Crew Cab diesel powers its way to the head of the class25 Mar 2010 THE crew-cab version of Nissan D40 Navara has been given a mid-life facelift that brings engine, styling and safety upgrades. Acknowledging that this premium work ute does double duty as family transport and weekend sports machine, Nissan has added more features and put greater emphasis on safety. Front, side and curtain airbags are now standard on crew-cab models and ESC is standard on the diesel, but unfortunately not on the petrol version. The diesel engine has been given a big boost, with the 2.5-litre four now pumping out a handy 140kW and 450Nm. The 4.0-litre petrol V6, which produces 198kW and 385Nm is unchanged. Nissan has changed the front end design of the Navara, but subtly.
