The Peugeot 208 straddles the light and premium-light segments, especially now there is a base Access variant opening the recently facelifted range at $16,990 driveaway. But the Allure variant tested here is parked at the higher end of town, comprehensively specified and featuring a bang-up-to-date 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with six-speed automatic transmission.
