Car reviews - SsangYong - Sports Dual Cab - utility
Sports Dual Cab replaces Actyon Sports as SsangYong's ute, which gets an Aussie auto
28 Apr 2008
THE SsangYong Sports Dual Cab is a very car-like ute that has a smooth, economical diesel engine and plenty of standard inclusions for the money - and now it has a new six-speed automatic option. You might not be getting the prettiest ute out there, or one that can ride, handle or perform like the best-in-class, but the SsangYong is a comfortable, good-value ute.

The Actyon Sports replaced the Musso Sports ute in 2007 and as it was derived from the Actyon SUV wagon, it came with car-like interior and unique coil-sprung rear suspension. There was only one engine available from the start, the Xdi 2.0-litre turbo-diesel developing 104kW at 4000rpm and 310Nm at 1800rpm with a standard five-speed manual and optional four-speed automatic. Like its predecessor, the Actyon Sports was available only in dual-cab configuration, based on a ladder-frame.
