Super TestCar reviews - Subaru - Liberty - RX sedanSubaru modelsSteering7 Feb 2001 By P TIBBLES POWER-assisted rack and pinion steering is standard on the Liberty range. The power assistance is engine-speed sensitive. The power steering pump is equipped with a minimising valve which reduces power assistance when it is not required. At low speeds power assistance is at its maximum, but reduces as speed increases. The reduced energy loss of the oil pump also contributes to improved fuel consumption. Did you know?Coefficient of drag figure (Cd) for the Liberty sedan is now a good 0.31, down from 0.34All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
