Rear brakes are 266mm discs with single piston floating callipers. The anti-lock braking is a four channel, three phase, four sensor system. The front wheels are operated individually while rear wheel pressure is determined by the wheel with a lower co-efficient of adhesion. ABS is capable of operating the three-phase control cycle 30 times per second. The ABS system has been developed specifically for Australian conditions by Subaru engineers.
