Peugeot 2008 Hybrid priced for Australia

PEUGEOT has announced details of its all-hybrid 2008 range for 2025, the two-variant range priced from $42,490 plus on-road costs, or $2500 more than the starting price of the outgoing petrol range.

High grade GT variants attract a $5000 price premium to begin at $49,490 + ORCs.

In updating the Small SUV range for 2025, Peugeot has included previously optional features as standard, including a wireless phone charger on the Allure grade, and 18-inch Evissa Onyx alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof on flagship GT.

The 2008 Hybrid is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine with electric motor assistance from within the transmission. Forty-eight-volt electric power is provided courtesy of a 0.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the combination providing total system power of 100kW (+4kW) and 230Nm.

Power is channelled to the front wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission in place of the outgoing eight-speed automatic.

Peugeot says the 2008 Hybrid can return fuel consumption figures as low as 4.4 litres per 100km on the Combined cycle with CO2 emissions from as low as 99 grams per 100km.

For the Allure, feature highlights include a 10.0-inch central infotainment array with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Lomsa fabric upholstery, an e-toggle shifter, LED lighting, wireless phone charging dock, blind spot detection, a 360-degree camera system, and body-coloured roof and rear spoiler.

Flagship GT grade highlights include a configurable 3D digital instrument panel, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go functionality, leather-wrapped steering wheel rim, panoramic roof, 18-inch alloys, Diamond Black roof and rear spoiler, Alcantara and leather-style upholstery heated front seats, and driver seat massage and lumbar functionality.

Both grades are available in the choice of five paint colours including Artense Grey, Elixir Red, Nera Black, Obsession Blue, and Okenite White.

All Peugeot passenger models are offered with a five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty.
