Renault's third-generation light-commercial van hit the local market in May 2015, bringing with it increased efficiency and updated styling.
Available with a choice between a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine or a 1.6-litre twin-turbocharged diesel unit, Renault released the new-generation Trafic without the option for an automatic transmission.
Crucially though, the new Trafic is considerably better on fuel economy, clocking in at 6.2-litres of diesel per 100km for both engines, and the increased volume capacity makes it more practical to boot.
