Honda AccordHonda Accord1 May 2013 Honda smoothed out the chunky American styling for its ninth-generation Accord sedan, producing a sleek and attractive, albeit safe design. Despite being 75mm shorter than the previous model, the Accord was larger on the inside and featured more cargo space. Honda packed the 2013 Accord with a number of safety features that were new to the model, including lane assist, autonomous braking and adaptive cruise control, but when it came to testing the Accord for crash safety, it only achieved a four-star ANCAP rating. A revised 2.4-litre four cylinder unit producing 129kW/225Nm and a 206kW/339Nm 3.5-litre V6 were on offer. Standard equipment on the base model included an eight-inch display with a reversing camera, daytime running lights, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth and USB connections, steering wheel controls and 16-inch alloy wheels.
