The front belts are mounted on the seats to provide consistent passenger protection regardless of size. This system can reduce impacts on the pelvic area by as much as 30 per cent. A 42-litre driver's airbag is standard. A fireproof plastic fuel tank is positioned for safety ahead of the rear axle and forms a vital part of the 156's in-built fire prevention system.
