Super TestCar reviews - Hyundai - Sonata - Executive V6 sedanHyundai modelsSafety13 Feb 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON PASSIVE safety isn't exactly a Sonata strong point. Only the more expensive Sonata, the Classique, gets a standard driver's airbag, while buyers of the entry-level Executive model must pay extra for a driver's airbag and more again for a passenger airbag (also optional on Classique). Both Sonatas do, however, offer five lap-sash seatbelts, plus front seatbelt pre-tensioners and height adjustment. Did you know? The current model Sonata (without airbags) was crash tested under the Australian New Car Assessment Program in November 1999 and received an overall rating of two stars, or 31 percent. All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
