Other key signatures are the elliptical headlights and the S-class mimicking wing mirrors/indicators. Of course, the further back you go the more the two cars diverge, until you get to the high tail with its curious two-piece rear windscreen and integrated spoiler. The wheelbase and width remain unchanged, but a 20mm lower ride height, 120mm longer doors, a longer front overhang and much shorter rear overhang gives the 18cm-shorter Sports Coupe a much more aggressive stance. Benz says the sedan and coupe share no body panels.
