Road TestCar reviews - Mitsubishi - Magna - AWD sedanMitsubishi modelsResearch Mitsubishi OverviewMitsubishi builds Australia's first all-wheel drive. So just how good is it?9 Jul 2003 FOR Mitsubishi, the future is here. And it comes in the form of Australia's first all-wheel drive family sedan, the Magna/Verada AWD. Customers may wonder why they should invest close to $4000 to empower the rear wheels of their Magnas and Veradas, but a spell behind the wheel on a dirty, rainy day, or on a crusty back road in the bush, should be more than enough proof. The benefits in terms of stability, and therefore safety, in adverse conditions are remarkable. Yet on regular, dry suburban roads it feels just like any other Magna. Perhaps the only problem is that it also looks like any other Magna.
