Super TestCar reviews - Mitsubishi - Outlander - rangeMitsubishi modelsOverviewMitsubishi gives third-gen Outlander a second chance with major upgrade17 Apr 2015 IT WAS not quite two and a half years ago that Mitsubishi launched its third-generation Outlander SUV, and unfortunately for the Japanese car-maker, it didn't quite have the impact it was expecting. Criticised for its conservative design and average ride and handling traits, Mitsubishi quickly set about correcting its misstep, which brings us to the heavily revised SUV range it is launching this month. It has even tried to spruce up the cabin for a more high-end feel, as well. Competition in the mid-size segment is incredibly tough, though, and Mitsu has struggled in recent years against the segment-leading Mazda CX-5, as well as a number of other contenders.
