Super TestCar reviews - Toyota - LandCruiser - 100 Series GXL 5-dr wagonToyota modelsThe Car15 Feb 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON IT still looks like a LandCruiser of yore (well, the 80 Series, at least) but the 100 Series brings with it an all-new wide-body design. The body has integrated wheel arches, and at 1940mm it's just 10mm wider than the "flared" 80 yet offers 110mm extra interior space. Overall length is up 70mm to 4890mm, with height up a mere 10mm. The overall shape is smoother, with styling features including large sculptured dual-beam headlights and "blistered" bulges for the wheel arches. Did you know? The first LandCruiser 55 Series wagon was launched in 1967. The 60 Series was released in 1985 and the 80 Series in 1990All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
