The front ventilated discs are thicker than the previous model and the callipers are larger, improving performance. A new long-stroke, small-diameter master cylinder also aims to improve brake feel. New four-channel, four-sensor ABS anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) are optional on Edge, standard on Cruiser. EBD provides better braking distribution between the front and rear wheels, according to road conditions (traction) and vehicle load.
