Future models - Renault - Laguna - Series II 2.2 dCiFirst look: Renault updates LagunaRenault shows facelifted Laguna sedan in Amsterdam before its late 2005 release1 Mar 2005 By TERRY MARTIN RENAULT has unveiled its facelifted Laguna at the Amsterdam motor show. Due for release in Australia later this year, the medium-sized sedan has a revised front-end (grille, bumper, bonnet, headlights, etc), new tail-lights, a higher standard of finish in the cabin and easier-to-use controls on the redesigned centre dash stack. An automatic park brake and the latest airbag and occupant restraint technology also debut. A GT 205 (205hp) sports version featuring a 150kW/300Nm 2.0-litre turbo engine, 17-inch rims, 10mm lower ride height and sports-flavoured exterior details is, alas, not expected to make it to Australia. The naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine and 3.0-litre V6 are unchanged.
