Future models - Subaru - ForesterMelbourne show: Subaru's Forester surpriseStability as standard and a $1500-lower price are Forester surprises from Subaru3 Mar 2008 SUBARU Australia has announced the new Forester compact SUV range will go on sale next month with a starting price of $30,490 – $1500 cheaper than the current model. All new Foresters will also come standard with electronic stability control, a feature not available on the present-generation Forester. Subaru Australia also announced this morning the new vehicle also achieved a five-star ANCAP crash-test rating for adult occupant protection, along with a three-star pedestrian rating. Subaru also revealed a limited-edition Liberty GT Spec B, tuned by STi. Available as a sedan or wagon and with a manual or automatic transmission, the cars have 194kW and 350Nm, 18-inch Enkei alloy wheels, sports suspension, body kit and a full-suite of STi badges. Sales start on April 8, only 250 are available and prices start at $65,990 for the manual sedan.
