A redesigned grille, body-hued outside trim, revised fabrics and instrumentation, new colours and improved seats mark the mini Mazda’s minor facelift.
The Mk1 121 lived on after the demise of the Mazda-badged version when Ford re-released it as the WA Festiva in October ’91, in three-door and new-to-Australia five-door hatch variants.
However Kia Motors in South Korea built the WA Festiva for Ford until early 1994.
