A new grille, the rear number plate’s defection to the bumper and revised trim marked the TN facelift.
More importantly, an Australian-designed station wagon (with a 1200kg load capacity) from June '87 broadened the Magna’s appeal, as did the availability of fuel injection (EFI), which boosted power up to 93kW.
Better seats, a new automatic with the EFI option, improved audio and more equipment kept sales strong.
In June ’88 a sporty Elante model (with EFI, tauter suspension tuning and bodykit) and an Elite wagon arrived.
