Super TestCar reviews - Audi - TT - Coupe quattroAudi modelsResearch Audi OverviewStyle and substance make the TT one of the most iconic cars of the last decade29 Mar 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON THE quattro version of Audi's delicious TT coupe turns out to be less a smoking street projectile than a nicely tamed sports car. But the TT has more than enough character to be appealing and any extra power would always be welcome. With constant four-wheel drive plus electronic stability control, the Audi is close to foolproof. The only noticeable downsides are a six-speed gearshift less smooth than the two-wheel drive car's five-speed, and a momentary pause as the turbo engine gathers power.
