Road TestCar reviews - Holden - Rodeo - LT Sport 3.0 Tdi 4-dr uteHolden modelsResearch Holden Steering10 Oct 2002 HOLDEN uses two types of steering system on the Rodeo. The first is a manual recirculating ball type with variable ratio, used on the DX 2.2-litre petrol 4x2. The other is power-assisted recirculating ball type with engine speed sensitive control, fitted to the remaining 35 variants. The LT Sport gets a leather trimmed steering wheel with cruise control functions mounted between the spokes. This leather trim gives the wheel a nice feel and though some may think that dressing up a ute with leather trim is a bit over the top, it doesn't look at all out of place. The steering is well matched to the size and weight of the vehicle, and responds predictably at all speeds. Did you know?Holden fits three different sizes of alternator to the Rodeo: a 70-amp unit on the 2.2-litre petrol models, 75-amp on V6 petrol models and 80-amp on both 2.8-litre and 3.0-litre diesel modelsAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
