Road TestCar reviews - Holden - Rodeo - LT Sport 3.0 Tdi 4-dr uteHolden modelsResearch Holden Brakes10 Oct 2002 RODEO is fitted with front ventilated discs and rear drum brakes. The brake system is of the vacuum-assisted dual circuit type and operates via a tandem master cylinder controlled by a load sensing proportioning valve. The LT Sport has a gross vehicle mass rating of 2740kg and a gross combined mass of 3740kg, which will test the brakes for sure. The test vehicle was driven unloaded and though it is true that vehicles of this type - with heavy-duty suspension - often travel better loaded, the vehicle proved difficult to bring to a quick stop without locking the rear wheel on the driver's side. This may have been due to poor brake adjustment but is a characteristic trait of rear drum brakes. Did you know?Gas pressurised shock absorbers are standard across the Rodeo range and this gives the vehicle good front and rear stability under brakesAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
