Super TestCar reviews - Peugeot - 206 - XT 5-dr hatchPeugeot modelsStand Out Features6 Feb 2001 By P TIBBLES THE 206 is a stylish, thoroughly modern car inside and out. Longer, wider and taller than the 205, the 206 has a short, sporty stance with a wheel at each corner and smooth, flowing lines head to tail. Aerodynamic drag measures 0.33Cd. A bulge that extends from each exterior mirror toward the sharply angled, clear lens head lamps accentuates the rounded look. Three square metres of glass can be found across the car, particularly the front windscreen. New windscreen wipers were developed to cope with the vast amount of glass. The front bumper has a large airdam and houses the fog lights (XT and GTi) . The tail lights are decidedly 406ish in their style and high-mounted position. Did you know? The 206 is built at Peugeot's Mulhouse plant in south-east France and Poissy, west of Paris, Sevel, near Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ryton in the UK and at a new plant in Porto Real, Rio de Janeiro, BrazilAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
