Super TestCar reviews - Toyota - Camry - Altise V6 sedanToyota modelsSecurity24 Oct 2002 By BRUCE NEWTON A MANDATORY engine immobiliser is backed up by remote keyless central door locking, which is a two-step system that unlocks the driver's door first, and then the rest of the doors. Other features include an audible chirp if the door is ajar and an attempt is made to activate central locking. The 60/40 split-fold rear seat is lockable, as is the glovebox. The radio is security coded as well. An alarm system is standard on higher grades of the V6, but the Atise misses out on this even as an option. Did you know? The 380N Camry's new door locks are shielded to prevent manipulation from outside the car and the door lock and door key cylinder are now combined which means no link can be manipulatedAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
