Future models - Nissan - PulsarTokyo show: C-Note is Nissan’s next PulsarNissan’s lightly disguised 2005 Pulsar leads a number of interesting Tokyo concepts21 Oct 2003 Nissan has revealed its next-generation Pulsar at this week’s Tokyo motor show. Virtually undisguised as the C-Note concept car, save for the fancy wheels and paintwork, Nissan’s C-segment small car contender echoes the new Renault Megane that it is based on, in both design and proportion. Nissan is claiming "superior quality" and "class-leading interior comfort" as a result of an increase in cabin space over its ageing predecessor. Better handling, ride, refinement and safety qualities are also promised. Expect the production version – which may ditch the 23 year-old Pulsar name – to debut at next March’s Geneva motor show. Australian sales should begin by about the last quarter of next year.
