CH Lancer

Mitsubishi grafted a TL Magna-like swoopy nose on the Lancer sedan, and with a lot more success too. The changes saw new headlights, grille, bumpers, boot lid and taillights, while there was also exterior and cabin trim changes.

Meanwhile the long-lived (1992 vintage) CC Lancer wagon finally gave way to the CH Lancer Sportswagon range in July 2004.

The square-back wagon arrived in base ES and sporty VR-X guises. The 92kW 2.0-litre engine continued unchanged in all CH variants.
