Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Astra - CD sedanHolden modelsOther OpinionsHolden should have used a different name. This Astra is leagues ahead of any previous model and deserves to be near the top of any not-so-small car shopping list. Drive it and be pleasantly surprised As we've said before, the Astra hatch is a beaut small car - the best in its class - but you pay for it. If you can afford the extra dollars, it's a rewarding car to drive and has a classy feel to it that no others in the small car category can match Performance, ride, handling and overall togetherness of the Astra's on-road manners are nigh-on impeccable. Compare it with other European small cars (Volkswagen's Bora is one that springs immediately to mind, although the Peugeot 206 is another) and the Astra starts to look more of a bargain prestige buy if the Holden badge causes no offence All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
