Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Astra - ConvertibleHolden modelsControls31 May 2002 THE Astra convertible comes loaded with all the standard features of the CD and SRi variants, such as remote central locking, electric windows, heated electric mirrors and cruise control. The cruise control buttons are located on the end of the European-style indicator stalk - it's on the left-hand side of the steering column - and they are small and quite fiddly to use. Front seat heater controls are located at the base of the centre dash console, forward of the gearshift. Just above them, on either side of the open storage bin, are the roof and electric window controls. The left toggle button operates the roof, while the button on the right will raise or lower all four windows at once. Individual window switches are located on the driver's door armrest/handle, as per other Astra models. A switchgear panel to the right of the steering wheel has a rotary dial for operating the headlights, as well as rotary switches for headlight level and instrument illumination adjustment, and buttons for the front and rear foglights. Did you know?Holding the key in the "lock" position in the driver's door enables all the electric windows to be closed simultaneouslyAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
