Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Barina - 3-dr hatchHolden modelsSeats9 May 2001 FRONT seat occupants are now sitting in the safest Barina seats to date thanks to the inclusion of active head restraints and belt-force limiters. The front seatbelts also have protechnic pretensioners and the sash can be adjusted for height. All seats have anti-submarining ramps. While sadly no rear head restraints or a centre-rear lap-sash seatbelt is provided, the rear seatback itself is reinforced and has a hinge locking system designed to protect against a shifting load. Child anchorage points are also located behind the rear seats. Only the five-door has driver's seat height adjustment and neither front seat in the three-door model has a tilt/slide function to assist access to the rear seats Did you know?Anti-submarining seats have nothing to do with the vehicle submerged in water. They are designed to reduce the risk of sliding under the seatbelt in the event of a collisionAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
