Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Cruze - 5-dr wagonHolden modelsResearch Holden Suspension26 Sep 2002 By BRUCE NEWTON WHILE the design concept stays fundamentally the same as the Suzuki Ignis, Holden's Asia Pacific Engineering division made some pretty significant changes. The front suspension is a MacPherson strut type, increased in track by 20mm to 1420mm, while the springs, struts and stabiliser bar were all recalibrated. The rear suspension is a beam type with trailing arms and a panhard rod. The track was increased at that end by 10mm to 1405mm and the springs and shock absorbers recalibrated. Did you know? One significant requirement of the suspension changes was to raise ground clearance to 180mm, which means the Cruze complies with Australian Off Road Passenger Car dimensions and therefore is imported with a five per cent rather than 15 per cent tariffAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
