The overall ratio is 17:1, the lock-to-lock 3.6 turns and the turning circle 12 metres. Steering should be aided by the Cherokee's tauter body, which is 43 per cent torsionally stiffer than Grand Cherokee, and boasts a 58 per cent bending improvement as well.
